Solvang, a Danish city in California

Solvang is a Danish city in Santa Babara country, California, United states. It was founded in 1911 on 9000 acres of land by a group of Danes who want to establish a Danish colony that far away from winter season. They choose this place because of it sunny day. The name "Solvang" mean sunny fields in Danish. It actually a small city where you can see some bakeries, restaurants and merchants that offer Danish taste in California. When reached there you will feel like" little Copenhagen", all the building is in Danish style, they even build a replica of Copenhangen's Round tower ( Rundetårn) in 1:3 scale. I went there last winter'09 it quite cold and cloudy that time(winter time more rain), but it a relax city; suitable for retired people that seeking relax life. I would like to go again .

LA Country Fair 2010

Last month went to LA Country Fair 2010 located at Fairplex, Pomona ,CA. I went there with my house mates and ISI claremont friends. LA Country Fair is an annual event that held in Fall (September), the first LA country fair was opened on Oct. 17, 1922, and ran for five days through October 21, 1922. Currently LA Country Fair is the largest fair in United States, it attracted millions people every year. There are a lot of  foods, rides, shows, etc there; but the food is overpriced,i bought a taco which is about 4 usd; i though it was a big one, who know a small taco. My friend bought a mexican foods, something like grilled chicken + rice, it cost him 14 usd; omg the taste is bad and the food is too little, it not worth for the $$ paid. But overall it a good experience there; lotsa of things to see and it was quite fun.
here are the photos.
