Hollywood sign hiking

 Hollywood sign is a prominent landmark in Hollywood hills, Los Angeles, you can saw it from far away. It actually created as  an advertisement for a housing development called Hollywoodland but later on changed to Hollywood and become iconic to filming industry.

 Last month I went there for hiking with a group of friends, it took us about 2 hours ++, with the spring chilling air it's indeed a good day for hiking. There is a lot of people hiking , jogging or horse riding there. From the lush green surrounding we able to saw Downtown LA, Griffith observatory and housing around Hollywood hills. It's a good place to hiking during winter and spring. I don't think hiking there during summer is a good idea since there is not much shade.

Cal Poly Pomona my uni III

Oh well so here part three of Cal Poly Pomona during end of winter/ beginning of spring photos.

lotsa of flowers that are blossom, leafless trees began to pop up new leaves, duckie swimming, horses grazing, bees looking for honey, piggy/cows resting; how beautiful Cal Poly Pomona are..

Solvang, a Danish city in California

Solvang is a Danish city in Santa Babara country, California, United states. It was founded in 1911 on 9000 acres of land by a group of Danes who want to establish a Danish colony that far away from winter season. They choose this place because of it sunny day. The name "Solvang" mean sunny fields in Danish. It actually a small city where you can see some bakeries, restaurants and merchants that offer Danish taste in California. When reached there you will feel like" little Copenhagen", all the building is in Danish style, they even build a replica of Copenhangen's Round tower ( Rundetårn) in 1:3 scale. I went there last winter'09 it quite cold and cloudy that time(winter time more rain), but it a relax city; suitable for retired people that seeking relax life. I would like to go again .

Æbleskiver, topped with rasberry jam ; powdered sugar, a traditional Danish pancakes that in distinctive shape of a sphere.
Quite nice tho

Cal Poly Pomona my Uni..

Cal Poly Pomona abbreviation of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona  located at Pomona, CA neighboring to Walnut. This is the university i been attended for almost 2 years. Actually had  pretty hard time here with the quarter system instead of semester system which only 10 weeks per quarter. Last few quarters winter'10 and spring'10 took 19 and 20 unit respectively, it really tough time, because the classes start from 8a.m and end at 6p.m, in between just have about 2 -3 hours rest time; this is my timetable for the whole quarter and i still need to attend lab at night. But all are passed, after all i 'm done. Here  are some of the photos i took at Cal Poly Pomona.
